Biographie
Elle a commencé sa carrière à la fin des années 1990 en tant que chanteuse pop, puis s'est tournée vers le cinéma. Son rôle le plus célèbre est celui de Rose Tyler, la compagne du Docteur dans la série télévisée Doctor Who de 2005 à 2006, un rôle qu'elle a repris en 2008 et 2010. En 2007, le magazine Broadcast a classé Piper à la sixième place de son palmarès « Hot 100 » des acteurs les plus influents à l'écran, la première femme de la liste. Elle a également incarnée Belle, une escorte de luxe, dans la série télévisée Journal intime d'une Call girl.
